I must apologize for the extended absence. My boss suffered a head injury and is out on medical leave and the co-worker had pneumonia (and should be recovered by the new year).

This past month has been exhausting as I have had to run the core facility solo. My stress-induced eye-twitch even came back at one point while I was trying my best to keep my head above water (though I did have the unique opportunity to punch above my pay grade when I needed to schmooze some VIPs on my boss' behalf). Coupled with family obligations during the holiday season, I haven't even had a chance to glance at PbP RPG. With the new year should come some relief (as my co-worker returns) and the family obligations recede.

If the community will have me, I intend to return to active posting this upcoming week.

Zoe, I have some questions, so I can decide what Grant would do.

1. Does the hover jeep have any futuristic safety features? Like Demolition Man?

2. Does the hover jeep have an open passenger compartment (i.e. no roof?)

2. Are Grant and Sir Ronith in the back seat? Grant has pilot hovercraft, could he get to the controls to land it?

3. Is the pilot dead/unconscious?

4. Is Sir Zero Moon in the jeep, or was he flying next to it when he said, "Get Out!"

5. Since Sir Ronith's sixth sense went off, do we have time for an action or two before the impact?

It does have available 4 point restraints and a roll bar, but no expanding foam or the like. It is a knock-off version of the CS Command Car. Coalition War, pg 164.

Yes it is open.

Yes, Grant and Ronith are seated in the rear. Sir Zero Moon is sitting in the passenger seat and the deputy is driving.

3. Is the pilot dead/unconscious?

No, he is awake and alert, but it's been less than a second since the collision and he has not had time to react.

4. Is Sir Zero Moon in the jeep, or was he flying next to it when he said, "Get Out!"

He is seated in the jeep.

5. Since Sir Ronith's sixth sense went off, do we have time for an action or two before the impact?

The mountaineer was traveling at 300 feet/second. Once it entered the range for sixth sense (90ft) Sir Ronith had 1/3rd of a second before the impact... or basically only enough time to see that they were going to be struck.

Zoe, the poor fellow has gone several months without a GM post, so if you could get him in on the action at your earliest convenience that would be great.
I'll leave it to Lloyd how to handle Beltin, but as the player hasn't logged in in a month I'm not optimistic about him sticking around much longer.

Appreciate the new home, its been quite some time since I've had the ability to post with Barric in character so don't hate on me for being rusty. All in all, excited to get started up again.

Possible my adventure was a tad on the boring side? Perhaps with Augur taking the reigns Beltin will return.

some gm styles aren't good for everyone.

Your adventure has been just great. You are in no way responsible for Beltins lack of participation, it has been so with all his accounts.

What Watcher said. This is neither the first time this has happened with Beltin's player, nor is Beltin the only PC at risk of going inactive.

Post is finally up. I will try to add a map for the gym just so everyone know where they are tomorrow. Barric and Aaron you are both active in this post. Barric, I took a few liberties to get you from MercTown to Houstown and into the action plus tie you into what's been going on.

I took the liberty of editing the Haven post to give Ronith quarters with a private bathroom and to put Rae far, far away.
Those of you without a place to sleep can pick your own and Zoe or I can update the list accordingly. Also, Azedes has officially flaked, yes? Any reason we're keeping his character sheet and account around?

I think that is the main rub, time.

Currently, I have a bit more time for my hobbies. It is my hope that this will continue, but in case it doesn't, I don't want to leave anyone in a lurch. So, rather than dive into the deep end (signing up for AGM or GM), I am trying to exercise more self-control and respect for the massive swings in available time during 'normal' versus 'busy' times.

Aside from H4H, if you think there are other groups that desperately need some AGM help, I can temporarily moonlight there too.
