Rate Nurse Ratchet [June-Septemer, Second Quad, 2024]

Game Master (GM) Duties:
Have the IM contact info of each player in their group.
Notify all players in the group via IM or PM of new GM posts, and other important updates.
Maintain your adventure notes in the GM's Cabal. (Gist: If a random GM can't pick up and run the adventure from your notes, the notes are unsatisfactory.)
Be available for IM chat at least one day a week.

Rewards:
GMs will be rated according to merit by their players every quadrimester.
Rating will be done by players on the following schedule:
Quad 1: June 1st
Quad 2: October 1st
Quad 3: February 1st
Each is responsible for creating his rating poll on the above schedule.
Players are responsible for rating the GMs within a week of the poll being posted, and posting notice that they have voted (in the same thread.)
Ratings will be conducted via poll and averaged to the nearest whole number.
Players who do not vote will be removed from the average.

10: You have earned 7 PP.
9: You have earned 6 PP.
8: You have earned 5 PP.
7: You have earned 4 PP.
4-6: You have earned only 2 PP, also, you're on probation.
1-3: Your position is now vacant.

Voted; I have one complaint. The post rate could be better. Sometimes we do wait weeks for a post, and sometimes you'll start a GM post and we have to wait several days for the finished post. If these improve I'd say 10/10 then.

Duly noted. I managed to get the post rate fixed in September for the most part, but July and August were pretty meager. I understand.

I absolutely love this setting. The explosions, the blood, the food! I'd do anything to play Zilch in this campaign. I'd wade through rivers of blood, kill anyone who stands in my way, and even face the void itself. Just let me play Void Reavers!

  1. More regular posts. If you can't complete it, save as a draft instead of publishing. Otherwise we get a notification, see it's not ready, then stop checking after a few days and miss when you've actually completed it.

Agree with the above. By and large my only complaint is when you post an All Stop but then don't have an update ready for a few days. More consistent posts would be appreciated.

An idea to caveat this and something I do. Every few days, read over the existing posts and start building an idea of what will happen that is then modified by follow up PC posts on GM Post day. When I'm able to post on a weekly basis, which I admit I've been bad at in recent weeks myself, it's what I do. That way when it comes time to post, you already know how it's starting and you just need to figure out where it ends. You have the tools and foreknowledge of being the GM in a growing situation we as players don't know. So you already have the direction.
