The Garden
The Garden divides the High District from the Arena District and is a favorite spot for those in Llorn with time to spare or looking for a moment of peace. In theory the Garden is open to anyone, however the one dross (10 gold) entry fee keeps out the poor who can't spare the coin for such frivolous relaxation. Ironically, those who could afford to pay the fee, don't have to. It is common knowledge that people who live in the High District are not required to pay.
The Garden is a 500 foot wide crescent of manicured lawn, trees and flower lined pathways all set 30 feet below street level. A small stream, wide enough and deep enough for rowboats and canoes to traverse, meanders through the park. The stream flows from a large pond on the east end of the park where it is fed from a large fish-head fountain on the northern wall of the Garden. At the opposite end of the stream is a smaller pond where a drain prevents the park from filling with water. A secret entrance to a maze of water tunnels that run beneath the city can be accessed by removing one of the stones in the base of the statue of Aco and flicking a switch. This releases the locking mechanism, allowing the statue to raise on cleverly concealed hinges, revealing a narrow iron rung ladder descending into darkness.

Fox makes his way to the area where his friend had let him stay when he first arrived in Llorn. He pays the fee, since he is not a resident of the high district who would be excused from doing so, and enters the garden to seek for someone e knows or who can direct him to his friend's current whereabouts. He will also inquire, if someone will speak to him but does not know his friend, as to to where one would go seeking for information on old construction outside the city.

Re: 29) The Garden
Fox finds himself in a glade surrounded by well looked-after trees with flower gardens near their trunks. The garden is presently empty save for small wildlife, the flora, and an old man in a simple, coarse, brown robe who's pruning a flower bush.

Fox paces over until he can more easily recognize the human. Once he is certain, he addresses him, "Greetings, Master Simeon, I have not seen you in some time, I am glad you weathered the dragon attack so well."
After a bit of chatting about complace trivialities, Fox will explain why he stopped by, "I was working with a party that was out hunting Orcs. One we captured mentioned a place where they are taking refuge, I am looking for any information I an find on that place. If there a location where information on older, presumably now abandoned, fortified dwellings would be kept?"
If Simeon would know such information, or knows a person who knows such information, that will work also, but Fox assumes he will have to nose it out himself.

Master Simeon arches an eyebrow. "Have you not considered the Mistoan War Academy? Old keeps and fortifications would be of strategic value, no doubt, so I'd be surprised if they don't have something alon the lines of what you're looking for."Fox wrote:"Greetings, Master Simeon, I have not seen you in some time, I am glad you weathered the dragon attack so well. Fox says, "There is much of this city I am, as yet, unfamiliar with. That is why I sought the advice of someone I trust who is familiar with Llorn. If you would direct me to that location, I will seek it out."
If the directions are given, he will listen attentively. If not, he will excuse himself politely and attempt to find directions.
